Ivory Room Wedding

This Ivory Room wedding was one for the books! Katelyn and Josh met at Ohio State where she was a cheerleader and he played golf. They are huge Buckeyes fans, so much so that when we started planning over a year before their wedding they made sure their date was October 16, 2021 – bye weekend. They also chose to have the Buckeye Bus as their wedding party transportation which was a perfect fit!

Since they both love Columbus, they wanted their wedding to be downtown so their guests could get the full Columbus experience. The ceremony was held at First Congregational Church. Not only is it a beautiful church, but it has special meaning to Josh. His grandpa used to be a pastor there. For the reception The Ivory Room was the perfect spot with those incredible views and elegant space.

Reception

Throughout the planning process, Katelyn continually described her vision as elegant and classic so we focused on that theme with the entire design from the florals to the stationery and everything in between. The white, gold, and pops of green made the perfect color combination. The entire vision came to life beautifully and the end result was magical.

And for two die-hard Buckeyes fans, what wedding would be complete without an appearance from Brutus?! It was the highlight for sure and Katelyn and when her fellow cheer and dance alums took right to the dance floor for the fight song, the party really got started! Their guests danced late into the evening. Cheers to a lifetime of love and happiness!
