Rainy Spring Day in German Village

I love working from home, but sometimes we all need to get out of the house! Even with a little rain, I knew this particular morning I really needed to get outside and explore. While I love traveling far and wide, sometimes we just need to check out a new or different neighborhood. I thrive on routines, but sometimes I need to step out of that to feel rejuvenated and stir some creativity. And that’s exactly what this rainy spring day in German Village did for me.

Lindey's restaurant in German Village

Lindey’s is one of the best restaurants in Columbus! Their location in German Village is awesome (minus the parking!) and I love the beautiful building. The inside is just as pretty as the outside. Plus the food and cocktails are top notch! I recommend a dirty martini to drink and the tournedos of beef for your meal.

If you look closely at the picture of the brick house above, you can see yellow and blue candles in support of Ukraine. I saw a lot of that around the neighborhood. There were candles and lots of flags as well.

Brick building and flowers in German Village

These trees are growing right against the building and look like a work of art! So amazing how nature can work.

I love all of the window boxes with, especially with pretty spring flowers!

When in doubt, get out and explore! And add a rainy spring day in German Village to your list.
