Our Jerome Village styled shoot took place at their community center in Plain City, Ohio. Their team reached out to us to assist with a styled shoot to showcase their event space where they plan to host weddings in addition to the current use as a restaurant, fitness center, and pool for their residents. We were thrilled at the opportunity to collaborate with them and create a fun winter shoot that showcased their indoor and outdoor space. The property has a beautiful barn with gorgeous wood walls, floors, and ceilings. The outdoor lawn is a wonderful option for a tented event and provides more space for larger gatherings. We love a venue like this because it has multiple options to host weddings and events.
Styled shoots are a great way to collaborate with vendors and this one was no exception. Darcy and Jennifer worked with some of the best in Columbus to make this vision happen. The idea was a fresh take on some boho elements while maintaining classic elegance. We wanted to create a design that fit the space and highlighted this beautiful venue. The incredible draping, linens, beautiful rugs, and rental items introduced some color. In order to keep a classic look, the florals included a variety of neutrals with rich textures.
We also got the chance to work with a real couple which is always special. Maddie and Alex are clients of ours that got married in 2020 and this shoot was a totally different style than their wedding which they loved. The dress and veil were perfection on Maddie and the burgundy suit for Alex was a fun pop of color and something different from the usual black or navy. They are such a fun couple and it always adds to the magic of a shoot to have a real-life couple and capture their love because after all, that’s why we’re in the wedding business!
