Business Books for Virtual Assistants

Social Squares

I have been reading a lot more and focusing on a variety of books including a lot of nonfiction about business, companies, teams, etc. These are my current favorite business books for virtual assistants. Are any of these on your list?!

1. Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies

This book is a great business book for any industry. It is full of research and statistics so it wasn’t the quickest read, but I found the depth of information incredibly helpful.

2. Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle

I first read this in one of my peak burnouts back in 2021 which was a wild time for everyone, but especially the weddings and events industry. This is a book that I should read every year as a reminder to practice the habits to prevent burnout.

3. Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones

I just started this book, but already love it and it’s a #1 New York Times Bestseller. Easy ready with extremely practical advice for business and life.

4. Set Boundaries, Find Peace: A Guide to Reclaiming Yourself

I have shared this book in my monthly newsletter and there are a lot of personal parts to this book, but there are great chapters on setting boundaries with work and social media that I found incredibly helpful.

5. Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead

I love reading business books by women and Lean In was hugely popular when it first came out. I read it a few year ago and found it useful and inspiring.

These are my top tech tools for virtual assistants and things I use almost every single day. Truly these things make me more efficient and make me enjoy my workday!
