Hi friends! I’m so happy you’re here. I’m Darcy. I love Jesus and tacos. I also love road trips, Cleveland sports (for better or worse), laughing at the latest GIFs, meeting new people, and spending time with family, especially my niece and nephew.
For work, I am a virtual assistant and wedding planner in Columbus, Ohio. In 2012, I graduated from Ohio University and spent several years in the corporate world before pursuing my passion of wedding planning full time. That led to a further passion in virtual assistance specializing in work with wedding industry pros. I love the combination of planning weddings and also working as a VA to make my client’s lives easier!
Like most people, I love travel and have found that travel inspires a lot of my work to feel creative and passionate. It’s a big world out there and there is so much to see! One of my proudest travel accomplishments is visiting the lower 48 US states before I turned 30. Alaska and Hawaii are definitely on the list too and so is more international travel!
I have lived in quite a few places including Montana, Washington, D.C., and most recently Austin, Texas in 2019. Austin is my favorite city and I loved my time there, but I am a Midwest girl at heart and Ohio is home!
Somewhat paradoxically, while I love travel, I also love being home and creating a space that I love. One that feels welcoming and warm to others and where people love to spend time together. We were made to share our lives with others and I’m passionate about doing that while traveling and when I’m home. I’m always on that quest to find the balance between adventure and adulting!
